ABUS FD ILS is a platform for pilots and non-pilots to practice flying a ATHR engaged flight director assisted manually flown ILS. The simulation starts with a clean configuration and allows for gear and flap selection through to CONFIG FULL. The environmental and ILS data can also be modified. The simulation ends when an out of tolerance limit is reached, the minima is achieved or 7 seconds after GA is selected. Use ABUS FD ILS to help improve your scan rate or fly it just for fun. ABUS FD ILS supports both left and right seat configurations. ABUS FD ILS assumes ATHR engagement for the entire simulation (No Manual Thrust Mode Available).
